Current volume: 10/2020

The International Review of Social Research publishes original research articles that focus on the study of human society, social structures, social change, human behavior as it is shaped by social forces, as well as on any aspects of the scientific study of human beings and culture. The journal aims to bring into the open interdisciplinary research, encouraging sociologists and other professionals to submit research articles that cross disciplinary boundaries. We welcome interdisciplinary research articles that are sociologically grounded on the idea that sociological thinking and analysis are indispensable across a large number of disciplines.

Our journal encourages the publication of Special Issues on the grounds that it may focus researchers with similar scientific interests to join together a single place, by the support of their scientific collaboration. In this way, the Special Issues published by our journal have become a feature of fundamental research.

Given the wide range of fields that the journal covers, we are dedicated to combine analytical theory with rigorous empirical analysis, aiming also to improve  scientific knowledge about the social world.
